Organization

Mission Statement: Gardeners Out East provides education, resources, and networking opportunities for our members to promote the love of Florida gardening as well as civic and environmental responsibility.

Watch for an email regarding the next Butterfly Garden Work Day. The email will explain how many can work at one time. In addition, members can go to the garden on their own to work, but please let our President, Karen Eckert, know you plan to be there. 

​Our 
regularly scheduled work days are twice a month: on the 1st  and  3rd Wednesdays.   
February dates: 3rd and 17th. NOTE: These dates can change depending on garden conditions.

Our next Member Meeting date:
March 8, 2021: "“Palms for Landscape and Indoor Use"  (Note: this is a tentative title.)

NGC Environmental School Course 3 “Air and Related Issues"  is  being offered via Zoom 

Date: February 17-18,2021
Registration deadline:  February 1, 2021
Presented by: Garden Club of Coral Springs.
Take the course as a refresher or as a participant wishing to learn more while still at home during the pandemic.

Annual Sarasota Garden Club​ ​GARDENS IN PARADISE TOUR  
scheduled for March 13, 2021 has been POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT YEAR!

  • FFGC District VIII is planning a Spring District meeting in April.  Details to follow.
  • FFGC is planning its annual statewide convention April 11-13 in Daytona Beach.  Details at https://ffgc.org/Convention-2021
  • NOTE: Both NGC and Deep South have cancelled their 2021 Conventions.
