- Email photos (Actual Size, please) taken on or after January 9, 2017 to eckertkg@gmail.com cc: ehamesbury@yahoo.com
- Include informative descriptions of each photograph: names of birds or butterflies, names of plants, location where each photograph was taken, date, etc.
- Include type of smartphone
- Please add a note if you do NOT want your name to appear with your photo.
GOE Contest
- 12 best smartphone camera photos selected by Education Committee and Board will be printed and raffled off at GOE’s May 8th season finale – a social gathering at Carolyn’s house
- Each raffle ticket counts as a “vote”; photo with the most “votes” wins a prize for the GOE member who shot the picture.
- One raffle ticket will be drawn for each of the 12 photos to determine the 12 lucky attendees who take a photo home.
FFGC Digital Photography Awards

- Class A – Bird and/or Butterflies
- Class B – Landscaped Florida Garden
- Class C - Florida Wildflower, preferably in its native habitat
- Class D - A Flowering Tree Growing in Florida
- Class E - Plants on the Florida Conservation List
- Class F - Plants in one of the following subjects: Plants in a specific garden, or Lifecycle of a specific plant, or Florida scenery
